If you currently have a 3.0 GPA or B average, these are the future grades you will need to maintain for the remainder of your classes to graduate with a 3.5 B+ average. To use this table, find the semester you most recently completed in the first column, then locate the GPA you must maintain to achieve a 3.5. Note that it becomes harder to change your GPA as you progress in your studies.
|I have completed||Future grades needed to average 3.5|
|Freshman 1st Semester||3.6 B+|
|Freshman 2nd Semester||3.7 B+|
|Sophomore 1st Semester||3.8 A-|
|Sophomore 2nd Semester||4.0 A|
|Junior 1st Semester||Not Possible*|
|Junior 2nd Semester||Not Possible*|
|Senior 1st Semester||Not Possible*|
*It is not possible to raise your GPA to the 3.5 target using regular credit classes or repeating previously failed classes in the time you have left to graduate.
