The Best Mid Atlantic Colleges for a 1300 on the New SAT

What Mid Atlantic colleges can I get into with a SAT score of 1300?

Important: If you took the SAT prior to March 2016, your test was scored on the old 2400 point scale. All SAT scores on this site have been updated to reflect the SAT 1600 point scale per the College Board's concordance tables.

With a 1300 on the SAT, these are the Mid Atlantic colleges you should have a chance to get into.

EasyCollege analyzed the most recent published freshman class SAT scores for all Mid Atlantic colleges and found 111 schools where a 1300 places you within or slightly outside the middle fifty percent of admitted students. The colleges are ranked by their position on our best colleges ranking and thus represent the better schools you may be able to get into and those which have historically accepted a 1300.

Is a 1300 on the SAT a good score? Yes, you have many opportunities at very good schools with a 1300. It places you in approximately the 87th percentile nationally for all students who took the SAT.

For comparison purposes, a 1300 on the SAT converts to a 27 on the ACT based on College Board concordance for the new SAT. Not all colleges report both SAT and ACT score admission data so you should check our comparable listings for both standardized tests to find academically similar schools.
