EasyCollege analyzed the most recent published freshman class ACT scores for all U.S. colleges and found 381 schools where a 17 places you within or slightly outside the middle fifty percent of admitted students. The colleges are ranked by their position on our best colleges ranking and thus represent the better schools you may be able to get into and those which have historically accepted a 17.

Is a 17 on the ACT a good score? A 17 is pretty low. It places you in approximately the 28th percentile nationally for all students who took the ACT.
