Lock Haven University Review

I transferred from Lock Haven to a different state university after completing my freshman year. I found this town to be horribly miserable and the campus to be clique based (in terms of the social atmosphere). Also, now that I attend a different university, I see how their academics are lacking (at least for my major, Secondary English Education). Many of my professors at LHU were disorganized and rude. Do your research and make sure you visit multiple times before deci... Read the full review...

I really enjoy studying at this school. SUA is a young, liberal arts university, and our student body is pretty small. Around 450 students go to this school, and they all are required to live on campus except those who have certain reasons. We live in/with nature, and you can enjoy various kinds of trees and flowers on campus. We also have a garden where some students are growing vegetable. The residence halls are beautiful, and I live very comfortably feeling protected.... Read the full review...

Is it one or many? Born in Detroit, I have remained a long time resident of one of the greatest cities in America. Using the GI Bill I attended Marygrove College, which was recommended by both family and friends as one of the best colleges to obtain an overall diverse education. I finally started taking my mandated classes, one which related to American history. Most of us will never forget the instructor demanding each night to be addressed as "Ms not Miss!". One ... Baylor?s student body is very accepting and there is people of all types. The academics are tough but that is what gets you an exceptional education. I have only had one professor that I disliked so far because of his grading policy. There are definitely parties if that?s what you?re looking for, but if you aren?t the party type, the party scene can be unnoticeable.... Read the full review...

Graduate Accounting Program - The advisers are horrible, never know what is going on, they work remotely not on campus and when there are complications with anything they push it off and don't answer the phone and then go on vacation and leave you hanging. Financial Aide is a joke...they don't help you or explain your available aid fully and never get back with you either. I received my package the last week of the semester and it was revised three times (a lot of good... Read the full review...

I like the small class size here, which encourages student engagement in the classroom. We have many classes in which we have discussions or small group activities, which make them more interesting. In many of the classes I took before, I couldn't just sit back and listen, but I actually had to do the readings and participate. Those classes were tough but rewarding. If you choose the right professor, you can get a lot out of each course. I also appreciate the diverse s... Read the full review...
